Kisa Foundation Uganda is a faith based, non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2009 by a group of indigenous community members who felt compelled to respond to the needs of vulnerable and marginalized people in the local communities particularly affected by HIV/AIDS  and poverty. Kisa Foundation Uganda`s main focus is to empower the local people, and create sustainable change. Our main programs are centered on public health, education, environmental management, livelihoods, food security and human rights. We believe the best way to pursue these goals is through development of self-sustaining, income-generation activities to the marginalized people.
